It can be done

How to Paint Sharp Edges tutorial now on YouTube!

Rosie, artworker May 20, 2021

One of my first posts and definitely the most trafficked; how to paint a razor sharp edge, no prob. I’ve been making a study of a larger work and it involves an inlaid ‘panel’ of gilding on a black field so I made a video while I was at it. I’ve inserted this at the beginning of my very descriptive tutorial here, because YouTube video can cut to the chase. And its one more video tutorial servicing the seemingly insatiable thirst the world has for watching YouTube video tutorials. I confess I’m transfixed by ALL of this at the moment

I respectfully acknowledge the Guringay people, the traditional custodians of the land that is now called Ku-ring-gai, and pay my respects to elders past, present, and those to come. I extend my respect to elders and members of the Darug nation, and to all Indigenous people who may be reading these words
