Artworking; June July 2025

Rosie, artworker August 6, 2025

Soon I will have someone actually kill me so I can stop working on this thing

BOOM. See there I worked on it A BIT MORE. Quite surprised to see how much colour there is, and how bright it is, surprised and I like it

Spend a lot of time crawling around on the floor, sticking things. The white string you see above serves to grid up the panels, so I make sure everything in one block is completely fixed on, before moving to the next. Otherwise I can get lost in it and everything falls off once the piece is vertical.

Keep tryna fix it

This was a good idea which I realised as sequin-like dots in silver and aluminium leaf on card in this general formation. See vid below!

Dog documentation for this time period

Not stalking but close examination has determined that the corgis seen above and below is the same corgi

This corgi

I see you you little fucker

Beautiful teacup made decades ago, which I have managed to keep safe and retain over those years

I made this bacon & egg pie in a random stab at providing ‘snacks’ for the household

Egg!

Its the Cook’s Companion recipe and I made it with ready made supermarket pastry

Although that pie was well received, I went on to next level the bacon & eggs to a quiche where it is all mixed up, with made from-scratch-pastry. Result was insane. And then I was off…

Apple pie and it was INSANE

Nagi’s apple pie recipe omg. The pie above made in a loose bottom tart tin. The raggedy edges of the lattice look disturbing but crunchy and taste good

Its gold!

Next step is get a good pie tin. I have made two more apple pies with this tin but no pics. Making apple pie with made-from-scratch pastry x2 (the base and the lid/lattice) is a whole day activity, and patience runs thin by the end you just EAT IT.

Rest assured those pies were magnificent.

My lattice pastry on the top needs attention, must say. I need to roll it out very thin & cut more strips, you can see how chunky it looks. I live and I learn and I like making pies.

Display at The Merchants Warehouse

Still good

I mean, its kinda hard to argue against. I mean, so nice, they know my name

And then, more of this.
