Artworking; Jan-Feb 2024

Rosie, artworker March 17, 2024

Been a while since I documented. I crashed after Christmas last year and just surfaced a few weeks ago. Havent done any markets yet, but a lot has been made because there are some big ones coming soon

So lets catch up

Things have been going well at The Merchants Warehouse I love it there

I will probably buy this

I mean I love a fire extinguisher as much as the next person but

Back to sewing. This is the Arkie shirt by Tessuti Patterns and I love it.

And the following photos:

Things That I Have Made And Have Worn In The Stairwell or, Things I Have Made That I Have Worn In The Stairwell

Some of the above were also worn in the stairwell but seen here upstairs. As you see I have had some quality sewing time. And dont even get me started with the reticules

Cant move in this house without tripping over a reticule. The fabric above is by Lady McElroy who ACTUALLY GOT IN TOUCH to say send them any pics I have of things I make with their fabrics and you never know what might come of that little arrangement. Exciting!

More, I need more.

Adding chains now. Sky is the limit re resource consumption

Over Nov-Dec 2024 to Jan 2024 I have been working on a huge commission with Canberra Glassworks but confidential contract etc, you cant see this

But you can see this. Injustice etc

But theres something very exciting happening with this little product of mine!

But I wont make anymore of these, the construction is too long for the return to be satisfactory

And I couldn’t love this more

Or these. See you next update

I respectfully acknowledge the Guringay people, the traditional custodians of the land that is now called Ku-ring-gai, and pay my respects to elders past, present, and those to come. I extend my respect to elders and members of the Darug nation, and to all Indigenous people who may be reading these words

Fellow travellers, thank you for visiting
