SO GOOD
The escutcheon plate from a vintage Singer sewing machine cabinet drawer, never put to better use. Made a mold, poured a cast, gilded that, et voila! Plus bamboo tassels with which I am obsessed. Cast resin cuff, takes a couple of days for the resin harden up enough to demold, so production on these is slower than I’d like at the moment; I have so many ideas to try!
The cuff is a larger size than expected so I fitted a magnetic clasp to it, theres a bit of flex in the resin so it can cinch in & not rattle off my wrist and then spring back to original size when disengaged. I LOVE IT.
The tshirt is a very customised Lark Tee with the introduction of French seams which nail the fit of around the change-of-life changed shape of me. I want to put together a post about this darted t-shirt evolution but that time is not now
Spent the night in the city at the Little National Hotel. Again. We love this place and as someone who has spent a career making luxury hotels and resorts shinier than I found them, this place is a different kind of luxury. The design is so…designy and everything is so well resolved and exactly right. And the beds are insanity good
Elvis is an excellent movie and the roller function on the shower door is clever and beautiful
