Thought of a new thing

Artworking; January 2021

Rosie, artworker February 9, 2021

Continuing from whence I came; as previously documented, a friend’s daughter is having a baby so I thought I’d make her a baby-mobile with my cast ornaments, for which I then purchased some anodised aluminium wire. Next thing, making metal lace.

Then theres the problem of tool-marking when shaping the wire. This anodised wire is unforgiving bitch

No one has ever thought of making rings with wire before

Made this Hot Patterns Jaipur blouse, not linking it because not recommending it. The pattern is faulty, things don’t line up & the design is all-over poorly drafted and I had made my own piping. Binning it.

Excessively pleased, however, with my new Carolyn PJ top. I wear it with navy blue viscose pinstripe piped cuff drawstring long pants and I am quite the thing, of an evening

Nice to have the Carriageworks market open again, albeit sparsely populated and somewhat lethargised

I respectfully acknowledge the Guringay people, the traditional custodians of the land that is now called Ku-ring-gai, and pay my respects to elders past, present, and those to come. I extend my respect to elders and members of the Darug nation, and to all Indigenous people who may be reading these words

Fellow travellers, thank you for visiting
