I made all these charms from molds I took of objects that interest me, then cast them in resin & gilded almost everything, but all are keepsakes of the woman who inspired me when I made this.

She is… herself. A collector of  old books & vintage maps; Georgian crystal tumblers; Ming dynasty tea bowls; fine Irish linen napery; Korean jade hair pins; anything related to Giacometti, especially if its bronze; mini cacti potted in Japanese porcelain; contemporary Australian sculpture; Halston jumpsuits. Patron of social enterprises within Asia/Pacific region, board member of Eurovision, a gracious hostess, except when she dines alone, for then she dines with herself & she is sufficient. She still has scraps of duchesses satin from her mother's ballgowns. She has been to Chandigarh; she has been many things to many people and recalls such moments when this bracelet grazes her wrist as she dances

Charms include: Gilded Mona Lisa smile cameos; Multiple tortoise shell Mona Lisa cameo, some gilded on the reverse so the light bounces back with a flash of golden fire (as seen in one or two pics; A large, hard-to-find Japanese cotton pearl in mint green nacre; Gilded five pointed star ; Resin & gold leaf heart charms

All chains and findings are of the highest quality, heavily gold plated with an anti-tarnish coating

Item #F22. This is a fine art quality object and has been created to look like it has a history, to tell a story, to have seen some time. This patina effect will continue to develop as the wearer will leave traces of their own journey as they age with it. It is well made. & fairly robust. and when it leaves my studio my responsibility ends and the patron assumes its care from that point onwards
