Charm bracelet of True Delight #F21
Charm bracelet of True Delight #F21
NEVER ENOUGH. Rosie Never Enough Perl.
Multiple unique charms on a classic round link gold plated Belcher chain. This thing has body.
I made all these charms, every single one, from molds I took of various objects, then cast them all in resin & then gilded almost everything. I have a sentimental attachment to some, like the Paris telephone tokens (when you had to use it to call home via a public phone box), and the scarab bead I bought in Cairo, but all are keepsakes of the woman who inspired me when I made this.
She is… herself. A collector of old books & vintage maps; Georgian crystal tumblers; Ming dynasty tea bowls; fine Irish linen napery; Korean jade hair pins; anything related to Giacometti, especially if its in twobronze; mini cacti potted in Japanese porcelain; contemporary Australian sculpture; Halston jumpsuits. Patron of social enterprises within Asia/Pacific region, board member of Eurovision and a gracious hostess, except when she dines alone, for then she dines with herself & she is sufficient. She still has scraps of duchesse silk satin from her mother's ballgowns. She has been to Chandigarh; she has been many things to many people and recalls such moments when this bracelet grazes her wrist as she dances
Charms include:
Gilded Mona Lisa smile cameo; Tortoise shell effect resin vintage CC button, gilded on reverse; Four gilded scarabs, some with brilliant oil paint glazes; Two-tone tortoise shell Mona Lisa cameo; 2 X gilded vintage Parisian telephone tokens, front and reverse; Gilded five pointed star on large gold plated link; Gilded vintage CC button; Gilded "Roma" souvenir medal; Carnelian (Italian coral) faux finish Mona Lisa smile cameo; Gilded baroque ornament fragment; Two enamelled metal heart charms; Assorted Amazonite beads, pearl beads, Swarovski crystal beads
